SENDING UNLV TO SPACE.

LAUNCHING SUMMER 2024.
OUR MISSION
RebelSat UNLV was founded in Fall 2020 on the foundation of inspiring students in the field of aerospace engineering at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Currently, our team is focused on the development of the RebelSat-1 spacecraft. We are investigating novel radiation mapping methods to be performed in cislunar orbit in order to establish foundational data for future missions to the moon and beyond.

EDUCATION

We are paving the road for aerospace exposure at UNLV and Nevada. CubeSats are a fundamental component for university space programs, allowing students to gain hands-on design and engineering experience relating to spacecraft development, a trend that we are actively maximizing. RebelSat UNLV was established with an industry company dynamic to provide the best experience possible for students. Not only this gives students real-world experience, but it also allows students to work on something completely new and unique to the State of Nevada.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

With 310+ students, industry personnel, and faculty, we welcome people of all backgrounds and disciplines to collaborate on this project. We utilize Discord as our primary communication and resource platform. All meetings and announcements unless otherwise specified are conducted on our server.
